讲座简介:

This talk will cover the recent development of microwave planar filters including miniature RF filters using liquid crystal polymer (LCP) multilayer circuit technology and electronically reconfigurable RF planar filters based on the integration of active tuning/switching elements onto single- or multi-layer planar filtering structures. Narrowband high temperature superconducting (HTS) filter with high performance will also be presented. Several filter examples will be demonstrated in light of simulated and measured results.

主讲人简介:

Hong Jiasheng, IEEE fellow, is a professor of the Department of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, U.K., where he is currently leading a team for research into advanced RF/microwave device technologies. He has authored and co-authored over 200 journal and conference papers and two books, Microstrip Filters for RF/Microwave Applications (Wiley, 2001, 1st ed., 2011, 2nd ed.) and RF and Microwave Coupled-Line Circuits, Second Edition (Artech House, 2007). His current interests involve RF/microwave devices, such as antennas and filters, for wireless communications and radar systems, as well as novel material and device technologies including multilayer circuit technologies using package materials such as liquid crystal polymer, RF MEMS, ferroelectric and high-temperature superconducting devices.Dr.Hong is currentlyserving as Associate Editor of Microwave Theory and Techniques (MTT).
